Levera Solution is used to control seizures in adults and children from one month of age with epilepsy, including partial-onset, myoclonic, and primary generalised tonic-clonic seizures. This liquid form is particularly suitable for those who cannot swallow tablets.
It contains levetiracetam, an anticonvulsant. Measure each dose carefully using the measuring device provided. Take it at the same times each day as prescribed. Do not stop it suddenly, as abrupt withdrawal can trigger seizures, any dose changes must be made gradually under medical guidance.
A consistent sleep routine, avoiding alcohol, and managing any known seizure triggers help support seizure control alongside this medicine. Take care with activities such as driving or operating machinery until seizures are controlled.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any kidney problems, as the dose may need adjusting, and about a history of depression or mood disorders. Tell your doctor promptly about any significant changes in behaviour, mood, or aggression. Speak to your doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
