Levera Solution 200ml

Levera Solution is used to manage epilepsy. It helps control partial-onset seizures, myoclonic seizures, and primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures in adults and children aged 1 month and above.

To use Levera Solution properly, follow these steps:

• Use the provided measuring device to measure the correct dose of the solution.

• This medicine can be taken with or without food or as prescribed by the doctor.

• It's crucial not to stop taking this medicine without first consulting your doctor.

• Keep the bottle well-capped after use. 

• If you have diabetes, consult your doctor before taking this medicine as it is sugar-based.

Levera Solution is taken orally.

Levera Solution contains three active ingredients:

• Levetiracetam (100 mg): This compound binds to a specific site on synaptic vesicles in the brain, known as SV2A. This binding action helps suppress abnormal electrical activity that leads to epileptic seizures. Unlike some other seizure medications, levetiracetam does not directly affect GABA or sodium channels.

• Methylparaben (1.8 mg): This ingredient is used as a preservative in the solution to prevent growth of bacteria and moulds.

• Propylparaben (0.2 mg): Like methylparaben, propylparaben acts as a preservative in this medicine, helping to maintain its effectiveness over time by inhibiting microbial growth.

• Store Levera Solution at a room temperature of around 20-25°C.

• Keep it away from direct sunlight and excessive heat or cold.

• It's important to keep the product out of the reach and sight of children.

• Try to maintain a balanced diet that includes plenty of fruit, vegetables, and whole grains. These foods are rich in vitamins and minerals which can potentially improve overall brain health, supporting the management of epilepsy.

• Regular physical activity, like walking or cycling, is also beneficial as it helps reduce stress levels, which can trigger seizures. However, consult your doctor before starting any new exercise routine.
