Livafin Cream 10gm

Livafin Cream is used for the localised topical treatment of superficial fungal dermatological infections and to control fungal cell multiplication across affected skin structures in adults.

Uses of Livafin Cream are:

• Athlete's Foot Management: Treats persistent itching, scaling, and cracking of the skin between the toes.
• Ringworm Treatment: Clears circular, red, raised skin rashes with clear centers on the body or limbs.
• Jock Itch Relief: Alleviates fungal skin irritation, redness, and chafing discomfort in the groin and inner thigh areas.

• Wash and dry the affected skin thoroughly before applying the Livafin cream.
• Use clean, dry hands to apply a thin layer of the cream over the affected area and surrounding skin.
• Gently massage the cream into the skin until it is fully absorbed.
• You should thoroughly wash your hands after using the cream to avoid spreading the infection or getting the cream in your eyes or mouth.
• Avoid getting this drug in your mouth or nostrils. 
• Your doctor will choose the appropriate dose based on your age, body weight, and the severity of the infection.

The route of administration for Livafin cream is topical, which means it is applied directly to the skin.

Livafin cream stops fungi from growing and reproducing. It does this by blocking a substance called ergosterol, which is required by fungi to strengthen their cell membrane. Without this, the fungi's membrane becomes weak and can't survive. Many studies have shown that Amorolfine hydrochloride, the active ingredient in the cream, is effective against various fungi that cause skin and nail infections, including Candida albicans, Aspergillus fumigatus, and Trichophyton mentagrophytes.

• Store Livafin cream at room temperature (15-25ºC).
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Livafin cream away from children.
• Do not use Livafin cream after the expiry date has passed.

• Always dress loosely to prevent more sweating and the spread of the fungus.
• Avoid walking barefoot in moist areas like showers at the gym and changing rooms to avoid fungus infections.
• Change your socks frequently, and wash your feet. Stay away from hot, sweaty, and uncomfortable shoes.
• Avoid scratching the skin because doing so could cause the illness to spread to other body regions.
• Don't let anyone else use your shoes, stockings, comb, towels, or bedsheets.
• Regularly wash your blankets and bed linens.
• You should follow a candida diet if you have a vaginal yeast infection, a diet that restricts foods heavy in sugar, some dairy items, and foods containing artificial preservatives.
• Avoid or restrict your consumption of alcohol and caffeine.

• Avoid getting Livafin cream in your mouth, nose, ears, and eyes. If this occurs, quickly rinse with water.
• Avoid using fake nails and nail polish. To stop the spread of infection, don't share your nail file.
• Observe every instruction on the label or package insert. Wash and pat the affected area dry. Wash your hands before and after each use.
• Call your doctor immediately if you develop any unexpected symptoms after taking the Livafin cream. Never stop taking this medication without first talking to your doctor.
