Lupihist Syrup 100Ml

Lupihist Syrup is used to treat allergy symptoms such as runny nose, sneezing, itchy or watery eyes and hives, and helps you breathe more easily.

Uses of Lupihist Syrup 100ml are:

• Cough Relief: Suppresses the cough reflex and helps loosen mucus.
• Allergy Symptoms: Relieves runny nose, sneezing, itchy or watery eyes and hives.
• Chest Congestion: Helps relieve chest congestion and an itchy throat.

Administer Lupihist Syrup as follows:

• Always shake the bottle well before use.
• Lupihist Syrup is to be taken orally, with or without food.
• Space your doses evenly throughout the day, ideally at least 4 hours apart. 
• This medicine is sugar-based and needs caution for use in diabetic patients. If you have diabetes, consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
• Always remember not to exceed 4 doses in a 24-hour period.

Lupihist Syrup is taken orally.

Lupihist Syrup consists of three primary components: 

• Diphenhydramine (15 mg): Diphenhydramine is a first-generation antihistamine that competitively antagonises histamine H1 receptors. This action suppresses the histamine-mediated cough reflex and reduces secretions in the airways.
• Ammonium Chloride (150 mg): This component works as an expectorant by irritating the mucus membranes, which leads them to secrete more liquid. This action thins the mucus, making it easier to cough up. Ammonium chloride also has a mild diuretic effect.
• Sodium Citrate (85 mg): Sodium citrate is a saline expectorant that provides relief by reducing the viscosity of mucus secretions and promoting oral mucosal hydration. It exhibits soothing properties that help relieve throat irritation.

• Store Lupihist Syrup in a cool place, ideally below 30 °C.
• Keep the bottle tightly sealed to prevent unnecessary exposure to air.
• Do not store the syrup in direct sunlight, as light can degrade the medicine.
• Always keep Lupihist Syrup out of reach and sight of children.
• Make sure to use the syrup before the expiry date mentioned on the bottle.

• To manage a cough and respiratory infection, maintain good hydration. Drinking warm liquids like herbal tea or hot water can soothe the throat and keep your body hydrated.
• Avoid smoking and exposure to secondhand smoke. Smoke can irritate your airways, worsen your cough, and hinder recovery from respiratory infections.
