Lupihope Tablet 10

Lupihope Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing female infertility

• Reducing pain during menstruation, also known as dysmenorrhoea

• Controlling premenstrual syndrome (PMS)

• Handling endometriosis, a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the womb starts to grow in other places

• Regulating abnormal uterine bleeding

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Avoid chewing or crushing the tablet.

• Do not exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

• Remember, it's important not to stop taking this medicine without speaking to your doctor first.

Lupihope Tablet is taken orally.

Lupihope Tablet contains dydrogesterone (10 mg) which works on your body as follows:

• Preparing the Uterine Lining: Dydrogesterone helps prepare the lining of your womb (the endometrium) for the implantation of a fertilised egg. This is a crucial step in the process of pregnancy.

• Maintenance of Pregnancy: After a fertilised egg has been implanted, dydrogesterone aids in maintaining the endometrium throughout pregnancy, reducing the risk of premature labour.

• Regulation of Menstrual Cycle: Dydrogesterone also regulates the growth and shedding of the endometrium during the menstrual cycle. This can help manage conditions like heavy or irregular periods.

• Reduction of Uterine Contractions: Dydrogesterone reduces uterine contractions, which is particularly important during pregnancy to prevent preterm labour.

• Modulation of Estrogen Activity: Dydrogesterone helps modulate the activity of estrogen in breast and endometrial tissue, ensuring a balance between these two crucial hormones.
