Maxtra P Syrup is a combination paediatric medicine used to relieve symptoms of the common cold, allergic rhinitis, and upper respiratory allergies in children. It helps ease nasal congestion, sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, body aches, and mild fever.
It contains an antihistamine, a nasal decongestant, and an analgesic/antipyretic. Administer this medicine as prescribed by your doctor using a measuring cup or dropper. It can be given with or without food.
Ensure the child gets plenty of rest and stays warm and hydrated with water or clear fluids. Use saline nasal drops if recommended for nasal comfort.
Before giving this medicine, inform your doctor if the child has any kidney, liver, or heart issues. Caution is advised as it may cause mild drowsiness. Seek immediate medical assistance if high fever persists or severe drowsiness occurs.
