Medisalic Soap is used to manage psoriasis, eczema and seborrhoeic dermatitis, conditions marked by redness, scaling and itching. It helps reduce inflammation and remove excess skin scales, and also helps control dandruff.
It contains salicylic acid, which helps soften and remove built-up scales while soothing irritated skin. Use the soap as directed by your doctor, applying it to the affected area and rinsing thoroughly. Continue using it for the prescribed duration, as prolonged use beyond this can lead to skin thinning.
Moisturise the skin after washing to help keep it hydrated, and avoid very hot water or harsh scrubbing, which can further irritate sensitive skin during flare-ups.
Before using this soap, tell your dermatologist if you have sensitive skin, a skin infection, or are using other topical treatments. Report any worsening irritation, burning or redness promptly. Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes.
