Megatas 50 Tablet is used to manage overactive bladder (OAB) symptoms, including frequent urination, urgency, and incontinence. It helps treat urge urinary incontinence and reduces the need to urinate frequently throughout the day.

Here's how you should take Megatas 50 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with water. Don't chew or crush it.

• Do not exceed the dose recommended by your doctor.

• It's crucial not to stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells you it's okay to do so.

Megatas 50 Tablet is taken orally.

Megatas 50 Tablet contains Mirabegron (50 mg) which works on your body as follows:

• Beta-3 Adrenergic Receptor Stimulation: Mirabegron selectively stimulates these receptors located in the bladder muscle. In simple terms, it sends signals to these receptors to help the bladder muscle relax during the storage phase when the bladder is filling with urine.

• Bladder Capacity Increase: By relaxing the bladder muscle, mirabegron effectively increases the bladder’s capacity to hold urine. This results in a less frequent need to urinate.

• Reduction in Involuntary Bladder Contractions: Along with increasing bladder capacity, mirabegron also reduces the frequency of involuntary bladder contractions. This helps improve your ability to control urination.

• The ideal storage temperature is below 30°C.
