Metosartan CH 25 Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults, including those with conditions such as coronary artery disease. It combines a beta-blocker, which lowers heart rate, with a vasodilator and a diuretic component, together helping to reduce blood pressure and the workload on the heart.
Take this tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor, at the same time each day for consistent control. Report any new symptoms, such as dizziness or swelling, to your doctor promptly, and do not stop the medicine suddenly without medical advice.
Reducing salt in your diet, staying physically active within the limits your doctor advises, maintaining a healthy weight, and limiting alcohol intake can all help support blood pressure control alongside this medicine.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems, a slow heart rate, or low potassium levels, and about all other medicines you are taking. Tell your doctor if you notice a significant drop in interest in intimacy, as this can occur with this medicine. It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
