Metrogyl 2% Gel 30gm

Metrogyl Gel is used to treat bacterial skin infections, acne, rosacea, and eczema. It works by stopping bacterial growth, reducing inflammation, and preventing infections post-surgery or dental procedures. It also helps manage conditions like dermatitis and vaginal infections such as bacterial vaginosis.

The directions for using Metrogyl gel are as follows:

• Clean and dry the affected area of the skin before applying the gel.
• Take a small amount of gel on your fingertips.
• Gently apply the gel to the affected area, spreading it evenly.
• Wash your hands after applying the gel, unless your hands are the affected area.

Metrogyl gel is administered topically, which means it is applied directly onto the skin or affected area.

• Metrogyl gel contains metronidazole as the active ingredient. Metronidazole is an antibiotic. It works by entering microorganisms and interfering with their DNA synthesis, effectively stopping their growth and reducing the severity of the infection. It is a base ingredient used to treat various infections, including infected gums, by inhibiting the growth of parasites and bacteria. Metronidazole creates a strong antibiotic composition for mouth and skin infections. The ingredient is typically used to treat infected gums and various bacterial and inflammatory diseases.

• Keep Metrogyl gel below 25°C in a cool and dry place. 
• Like most other medications, the antibiotic will be stored in a neat and clean area, far away from heat exposure.
• The antibiotic gel should be stored in a tight container without exposure to direct sunlight. 
• Doing so, the consistency and thickness of the gel are easy to preserve.

• Lightly exfoliate your skin regularly and rinse off with clean water.
• Consume well-balanced nutritious food, which includes a variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats. These foods provide essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that support skin health and overall immune function. 
• Incorporate foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids, such as fatty fish (salmon, mackerel), flaxseeds, chia seeds, and walnuts.
• Minimise the intake of carbs and aerated drinks.
• If you have any known food allergies or sensitivities that may aggravate your skin condition, it is recommended to avoid those trigger foods. Common triggers include spicy foods, processed foods, dairy products, and foods high in sugar or artificial additives.
• Drink lots of water to keep your skin hydrated.
• Go make-up free for a few weeks. 
•  Apply antibiotic gel or Metrogyl Gel as per the prescription.
• Engage in regular physical activity and stick to a schedule and follow the action.
