Microdox Lbx Capsule 10

Microdox-LBX Capsule is used to treat bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, urinary system, and skin by slowing bacterial growth. It is also used to manage sexually transmitted infections such as chlamydia and gonorrhoea, helping ease symptoms and control infection spread.

While taking the Microdox-LBX Capsule, follow these instructions:

• Swallow the capsule with water.
• Do not break, chew or crush the capsule.
• This medicine should be taken on an empty stomach, an hour before or two hours after meals.
• Always take the medicine at the same time each day to maintain consistent levels in your body.
• Continue taking the medicine for as long as your doctor advises. Do not stop without consulting them first.

Microdox-LBX Capsule is taken orally.

Microdox-LBX Capsule contains two active ingredients:

• Doxycycline (100 mg): As an antibiotic, doxycycline works by inhibiting protein synthesis in bacteria. This disruption in their growth process prevents them from multiplying further, thereby limiting the spread of infection.
• Lactic acid bacillus (5 billion spores): Classified as a probiotic, lactic acid bacillus enhances gut health. It does so by restoring the natural balance of good bacteria in the gut that may have been disrupted due to an illness or treatment with certain medicines.

• Store your Microdox-LBX Capsule in a cool and dry place, at a temperature below 30°C.
• Keep it away from direct sunlight and moisture to maintain its efficacy.
• Always place the medicine out of reach of children to prevent accidental intake.

• If you are prescribed Microdox-LBX Capsule for bacterial infections, maintaining good hygiene is essential. Regular hand washing, using sanitized utensils, and consuming clean, well-cooked food can help prevent further infection.
• Given that this medicine contains lactobacillus, a type of friendly bacteria, incorporating probiotic-rich foods like yoghurt in your diet may support your gut health during medication.
