Modus-10 Tablet is used to treat abnormal uterine bleeding and amenorrhea (absence of periods). It is also used to manage endometriosis. This medicine may help relieve premenstrual symptoms in some women and may help reduce the risk of excessive growth of the uterine lining (endometrial hyperplasia) in postmenopausal women receiving estrogen therapy.

• Swallow the tablet whole with water.

• Avoid breaking or chewing the tablet before swallowing.

Modus-10 Tablet is taken orally.

Modus-10 Tablet contains medroxyprogesterone (10 mg), which acts on your body through the following mechanisms:

• Binding with the progesterone receptor: Medroxyprogesterone mimics the action of natural progesterone by binding to progesterone receptors in your body.

• Regulating endometrial growth: By binding to these receptors, medroxyprogesterone controls the growth and shedding of the endometrium, which is the lining of your uterus. This leads to the cessation of abnormal uterine bleeding.
