Monit Gtn-2.6 Tablet is used to manage angina, control perioperative hypertension, and assist in treating acute myocardial infarction (heart attack).

Here's how you take Monit Gtn-2.6 Tablet:

• Swallow the whole tablet with water. Do not crush, chew, or break it.
• Take this tablet before meals, unless your doctor advises otherwise.
• Follow the advise of your doctor for dosage and duration.

Monit Gtn-2.6 Tablet is taken orally.

Monit Gtn-2.6 Tablet contains nitroglycerin (2.6 mg), which works on your body as follows:

• Vasodilation: Nitroglycerin acts by relaxing and widening your blood vessels. The process known as vasodilation, reduces the strain on your heart, making it easier for your heart to pump blood around your body.
• Increases Blood Flow: By widening your blood vessels, especially those around the heart, nitroglycerin improves blood flow and oxygen supply to the heart muscle.
• Reduces Chest Pain: As a result of improved blood flow and oxygen supply, any discomfort or pain in the chest due to reduced blood flow (angina) is managed effectively.
