Montek Ab Tablet 10

Montek AB Tablet is used for the management and prevention of asthma attacks, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and allergic rhinitis (hay fever). It helps reduce inflammation and improves breathing by opening the airways.

• Take the entire tablet without crushing or breaking it. 
• You can consume it with or without food, but it's advisable to take it at the same time each day for optimal effects.

The Montek AB Tablet is taken orally.

Montek AB Tablet contains the following components:

• Acebrophylline (SR) (200 mg): It is an airway mucoregulator and an anti-inflammatory agent that reduces mucus production in the airways, which helps clear the lungs and alleviate symptoms like coughing and shortness of breath.
• Montelukast (10 mg): It is a leukotriene receptor antagonist. It blocks the action of chemicals called leukotrienes, which are responsible for inflammation and narrowing of the airways. By inhibiting these chemicals, montelukast helps to reduce swelling and constriction in the air passages, leading to improved breathing and provides relief in symptoms of asthma, rhinitis and exercise-induced bronchoconstriction.

• Store Montek AB Tablet at room temperature, specifically at 25°C.
• Ensure to protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Avoid using this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Consume potassium-rich foods like tomatoes, bananas, asparagus, oranges, potatoes, avocados, dark leafy greens, and beetroot to support lung function. Potassium deficiency may lead to breathing difficulties.
• Stay hydrated to ease symptoms of cough and cold. Opt for room-temperature liquids to alleviate runny nose, cough, and sneezing.
• Quit smoking to enhance the effectiveness of the Montek AB tablet and improve lung health by reducing irritation and breathing problems.
• Avoid known allergens, such as pollen and dust, and be mindful of specific food items that trigger allergies.
