Montor-LC Kid Syrup is used to manage the symptoms of allergic rhinitis and asthma in children aged 2 to 11 years. It relieves symptoms such as sneezing, a runny or stuffy nose, and itching of the nose, throat, and eyes, and helps prevent asthma symptoms.
It is a combination medicine containing levocetirizine, an antihistamine, and montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist. Measure each dose with the cup provided and give it as prescribed, usually as prescribed. It is used regularly to prevent symptoms, so continue giving it for the full course even when your child feels well.
Alongside this medicine, identifying and avoiding known triggers such as dust, pollen, smoke, and pet dander, and keeping the home clean and well ventilated, help reduce allergy and asthma symptoms in children.
Before giving this medicine, tell your child's doctor about any existing conditions or other medicines your child takes. Report any mood or behaviour changes, unusual dreams, or sleep problems. Speak to your child's doctor if your child's symptoms do not improve.
