Moxikind-CV Forte Dry Syrup is used to treat bacterial infections in children. It contains amoxicillin, a penicillin antibiotic, and clavulanic acid, which protects amoxicillin from breakdown by certain bacteria, making it effective against a wider range of infections.
It is used to manage upper and lower respiratory tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, urinary tract infections, dental infections, and certain resistant infections including tuberculosis, as advised by your child's doctor. Give it to your child at the dose and frequency prescribed, using a proper measuring cup or syringe, and complete the full course even if your child starts to feel better.
Ensure your child gets adequate rest and stays well hydrated during treatment, and avoid giving leftover or shared antibiotics for future illnesses.
Before giving this medicine, tell your child's doctor if your child has any allergy to penicillin antibiotics or has liver or kidney problems. Contact your child's doctor promptly if your child develops a severe skin rash, persistent loose motions, or signs of an allergic reaction.
