Netalo Eye Drops are used to lower raised eye pressure in adults with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. It works through a mechanism different from other glaucoma medicines, making it useful when other treatments have not been sufficient.
It contains netarsudil. Use it as prescribed, usually once in the evening. Avoid blinking excessively after instilling the drops. Remove contact lenses before use and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them.
Attending regular eye clinic appointments for pressure monitoring and optic nerve assessment is essential for long-term glaucoma management alongside this medicine.
Before using this medicine, tell your doctor about any planned eye surgery, existing eye infections, or dry eye conditions. Space eye drops at least five minutes apart if more than one is prescribed. Speak to your doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
