Nimodip Tablet used to manage and reduce neurological deficits that occur due to vasospasm following a subarachnoid haemorrhage (bleeding in the brain). Its primary role is to prevent brain damage after a ruptured cerebral aneurysm or arteriovenous malformation. By improving blood flow, it manages symptoms of cerebral ischemia (like confusion and speech difficulties) and reduces the incidence of poor outcomes and dependence.

To correctly take Nimodip Tablet, follow these directions:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a bit of water.

• Do not chew or crush the tablet.

• You should take this medicine around 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals.

• Reduction of Vasospasm Risk: Vasospasms are constrictions of blood vessels that reduce blood flow. By reducing vasospasms in the cerebral arteries, nimodipine lowers the risk of poor outcomes like long-term disability and death in patients who have suffered a haemorrhagic stroke.

• Store Nimodip Tablet at room temperature.
