Nintena 100 Capsule 10

Nintena 100 Capsule is used to manage idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and slow the progression of chronic fibrosing interstitial lung diseases. It also helps in managing systemic sclerosis-associated interstitial lung disease and controls metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (adenocarcinoma) after chemotherapy.

Here's how you should take your Nintena 100 Capsule:

• Swallow the capsule whole with a full glass of water. Do not chew or crush it.

• Always take this medicine with food to help manage nausea and diarrhoea.

• Never alter your dose or stop taking Nintena 100 Capsule without consulting your doctor.

• If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it's nearly time for your next dose. Do not take two doses at once.

Nintena 100 Capsule is taken orally.

Nintena 100 Capsule contains nintedanib (100 mg), which acts on your body in several ways:

• PDGF Receptor Inhibition: Nintedanib blocks Platelet-derived growth factor receptors α and β in your body which are involved in cell growth and division.

• FGF Receptor Inhibition: Nintedanib also inhibits Fibroblast growth factor receptors 1-3 that regulate important biological processes like cell growth, wound healing and angiogenesis (formation of new blood vessels).

• VEGF Receptor Inhibition: Lastly, it inhibits Vascular endothelial growth factor receptors 1-3 that play a key role in angiogenesis.

By inhibiting these receptors, Nintenda 100 helps to slow down the progression of fibrotic lung diseases and certain cancers.

• Store Nintena 100 Capsule at room temperature, ideally between 20°C to 25°C.

• Keep the medicine in its original packaging, away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Always keep it out of reach of children to prevent accidental ingestion.

• Use the capsule before the expiry date mentioned on the pack.

• If you're managing Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis or other fibrotic lung diseases with Nintena 100 Capsule, incorporate regular light exercises like walking or yoga in your daily routine. This can help improve your lung function and overall health.

• Maintain a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables and lean proteins. A good diet supports your immune system and can help you feel better while managing chronic lung diseases.
