Nizonide 500 Tablet is used to treat intestinal parasite infections, such as giardiasis and amoebiasis, by targeting and eliminating the parasites responsible for the infection. It helps relieve symptoms such as diarrhoea, abdominal pain, and bloating, supporting faster recovery and improved overall gut health.

• Nizonide 500 tablet should be taken only through a doctor's prescription. 
• Swallow the tablet as a whole with water. Do not chew or break the tablet.
• This medication should be taken with food. 
• It should be taken as advised by the doctor.

Nizonide 500 tablets are administered orally.

• Nizonide 500 tablet includes nitazoxanide as the active ingredient. 
• Nitazoxanide belongs to the class of antiprotozoal drugs. 
• Nizonide 500 tablet is a broad spectrum anti-infective drug. 
• This drug interferes with growth and development of parasites. In doing so, this medication kills the parasite.

• This medicine should be stored at room temperature (below 30ºC).
• Store it in a cool and dry place away from moisture. 
• Keep the medicine away from children. 
• Do not use this medicine past the expiry date.

• Have a balanced and healthy diet.
• Get enough sleep so that your body gets sufficient rest and relief from pain. 
• Eat easy to digest food to help with diarrhoea. 
• Drink enough water and increase fluid intake to make up for loss of electrolytes in the body.  
• Take enough green vegetables and fruits in your diet. 
• Avoid cigarette smoking and drinking alcohol.

• Avoid Nizonide 500 tablet in case of known allergies to Nitazoxanide.   
• Take this medicine with food.
