Nizral Cream 30gm

Nizral Cream is utilised for the following health conditions:

• Management of athlete's foot, a fungal infection affecting the skin between the toes.

• Control of jock itch, a fungal infection causing an itchy rash in the groin area.

• Reduction in ringworm, a common fungal infection characterised by a circular rash.

• Alleviation of seborrhoeic dermatitis, a skin condition causing scaly patches and red skin.

• Management of pityriasis versicolor, a common condition that causes small patches of skin to become scaly and discoloured.

• Control of cutaneous candidiasis, a skin infection caused by yeast.

To appropriately use Nizral Cream, follow these instructions:

• Ensure that the affected area is clean and dry before applying the cream.

• Apply the cream to the infected area using your fingertip or a clean cotton swab.

• The quantity required will depend on the size of the infected area.

• Gently massage the cream into your skin until it is fully absorbed.

• Always wash your hands after application to prevent spreading the infection.

• Consult your doctor for specific directions related to your condition.

Nizral Cream is applied topically.

Nizral Cream contains ketoconazole (2 %). It works on the body in the following ways:

• Inhibition of Fungal Cell Membrane Formation: Ketoconazole interferes with the creation of ergosterol, a crucial component in fungal cell membranes. The disruption in ergosterol production leads to holes in these cell membranes.

• Leakage and Death of Fungal Cells: Due to the holes created in their cell membranes, essential cellular components leak out of fungal cells, leading to their death. This action effectively reduces the infection on your skin.

• Decrease in Fungal Growth: By killing off existing fungal cells and preventing new ones from forming properly, ketoconazole helps decrease the growth and spread of fungus on your skin.

• Store Nizral Cream in a cool and dry place, ideally at room temperature below 30°C.

• Keep the cream well away from direct sunlight and moist areas like bathrooms.

• Ensure it's out of reach of children.

• Remember to use Nizral Cream before its expiry date, as mentioned on the product packaging.

• Regularly wash the affected area with a mild, non-soap cleanser. This can help manage the skin condition effectively along with the usage of Nizral Cream.

• If you're managing a fungal infection, avoid wearing tight-fitting clothes that don't allow your skin to breathe. Wearing loose, breathable clothing can prevent moisture build-up and reduce the chances of fungal growth.
