Headache
Dizziness or drowsiness
Metallic taste in the mouth: This is due to metronidazole, one of the active ingredients. You may experience a slightly metallic or bitter taste.
Candidiasis: This is a fungal infection that can affect your mouth or genitals, often resulting in white patches and discomfort.

Norfagyl Plus Oral Suspension contains three active ingredients:

Ofloxacin (100 mg): This is an antibiotic that prevents bacterial DNA replication and cell division by inhibiting two enzymes—DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV—in the bacteria. It has a broad spectrum of activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
Metronidazole (200 mg): This is an antibiotic that works against anaerobic bacteria and certain parasites. It penetrates bacterial cells and inhibits DNA synthesis which leads to cell death. Metronidazole is particularly effective against Gram-negative anaerobic bacteria.
