Novamox-250 Capsule is used to treat bacterial infections, including pneumonia, bronchitis, dental abscesses, and Helicobacter pylori-related stomach ulcers, effectively controlling bacterial growth and reducing infection symptoms.

Novamox capsules will not be effective against colds, flu and viral infections. There are no specific dietary instructions for individuals taking this medication. They can continue with their normal diet.

The active ingredient of the Novamox 250 MG capsule is Amoxicillin which may cause diarrhoea. If diarrhoea occurs, then consult the doctor. Anti-diarrhoea medicine should not be given until the doctor indicates it.

ENT infections: The medicine activity of the Novamox capsule is specific to certain types of bacteria. It is used to treat ear, nose and throat infections like tonsillitis, pharyngitis, and otitis media for children below 12 years of age.
Lower respiratory tract infections: Novamox capsule treats lower respiratory tract infections like bronchitis, bronchiolitis and pneumonia. It is caused due to many infectious microorganisms like streptococcus species, pneumococcus and staphylococcus species.
Acute bacterial sinusitis: Novamox capsules are also used in the treatment of acute bacterial sinusitis. Acute bacterial sinusitis is an infection in the nasal cavity and sinuses.
Skin and associated structure infections: It is also used to treat infections in the skin, skin structure and associated tissues. Some common types of skin infections are impetigo, cellulitis and folliculitis.
Urinary tract infections: Novamox capsules are also used to treat urinary tract infections(UTIs). It is an infection in any part of the urinary system like kidneys, urethra, ureter and bladder. Novamox 250 is the most common medicine for UTIs.

Novamox capsules are to be swallowed with a whole glass of water.
Do not chew, break or crush the capsule.
Follow the doctor’s instructions on the dose and duration of taking the Novamox 250 capsule.
Novamox capsules can be taken with or without food.

Novamox 250 capsules are taken orally with a glass of water.

Managing the Side Effects:

Amoxicillin is the main constituent of the Novamox 250 MG capsule. The medicinal activity of the capsule is attributed to its ability to inhibit cell wall formation. The inability to form the cell wall will lead to the destruction of cells, resulting in the death of infection-causing bacteria.
Novamox 250 capsule is a bactericidal drug. It reduces and eliminates the infection by killing bacteria. This characteristic of the Novamox 250 mg capsule classifies it as a bactericidal agent.

Pregnancy

There are few studies on pregnant women regarding using Novamox 250 capsules. And animal studies can not always correspond to humans in their reproductive stages. So, it is advisable to consult a doctor before taking Novamox 250 mg capsule during pregnancy. Novamox is usually indicated only when it is needed.

Breastfeeding

Novamox is known to be secreted in breast milk, and it has the potential to sensitize the baby if breastfeeding is done. Be cautious while using Novamox during breastfeeding. Do consult the doctor about the use of Novamox 250 capsules.

Alcohol

Using Machines & Driving

Daily Dose
