Beyond its antifungal property, zinc pyrithione also exhibits antibacterial effects and promotes shedding of the outermost layer of skin cells (keratolytic effect).
Together, these ingredients effectively destroy the fungal cells responsible for seborrheic dermatitis and dandruff.
