Nukast-4 Syrup is primarily used to manage allergic rhinitis and bronchial asthma in children aged between 2 and 5 years. This combination medicine is part of a group of medications known as antihistamines and leukotriene receptor antagonists.
In addition to managing these main conditions, this may also be beneficial for chronic idiopathic urticaria. This refers to persistent itchy pink or red welts on the skin, which last for more than six weeks without a clear cause.
The syrup should be given as directed by your doctor. Before your child starts this medicine, make sure you inform the doctor about any pre-existing conditions or ongoing medicines. If you notice any side effects while your child is on this medicine, notify the doctor immediately. Continue giving this syrup for the duration prescribed by the doctor for optimal results.
