O2 Tablet 10

O2 Tablet is primarily used to treat a wide range of bacterial and parasitic infections, including:

• Respiratory tract infections: This tablet is commonly used to treat respiratory tract infections, including bronchitis, pneumonia, and sinusitis.
• Urinary tract infections: This tablet effectively treats urinary tract infections, including bladder and kidney infections.
• Gastrointestinal tract infections: This tablet can treat gastrointestinal tract bacterial infections, such as peritonitis, diarrhoea and dysentery.
• Skin and soft tissue infections: This table treats skin and soft tissue infections, including cellulitis, abscesses, and infected wounds.
• Sexually transmitted infections: This tablet can treat sexually transmitted infections like gonorrhoea and chlamydia. 
• Gynaecological and pelvic infections: This tablet also helps resolve bacterial and protozoal infections in this area.
• Diabetic foot ulcers: This tablet can also be used to treat foot ulcers in diabetic patients.

• Swallow the whole tablet with a glass of water.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet, as this may affect the way the medication is absorbed in the body.
• Do not change your dose of O2 Tablet or take them more often than prescribed.

O2 Tablet is taken orally.

O2 Tablet contains the following components:

• Ofloxacin (200 mg): It is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that inhibits the activity of bacterial enzymes responsible for DNA replication and repair. This results in the inability of bacteria to grow and reproduce, leading to their eventual death. Ofloxacin is effective against a wide range of Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, including those that cause respiratory, urinary tract, and gastrointestinal tract infections.
• Ornidazole (500 mg): It is a nitroimidazole antibiotic that disrupts the DNA structure of protozoal and anaerobic bacteria. Ornidazole is effective against various protozoal infections, including those caused by Giardia and Entamoeba. Ornidazole leads to the inhibition of their growth and eventual death.
• The use of this combination can also help to reduce the development of antibiotic resistance by targeting multiple pathways of bacterial and protozoal activity.

• Store this medicine intact in the packing it has been bought.
• Store the tablet at room temperature below 30 ºC.
• Keep O2 Tablet away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Eat a well-balanced diet comprising fruits, vegetables, whole grains and pulses, lean meat, and healthy fats.
• Limit consumption of processed and high-fat foods, sugary drinks, and alcohol.
• Antibiotics can alter the good bacteria in the stomach, which help in digestion. Therefore, you are advised to take foods rich in probiotics, such as yoghurt/curd.
• Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
• Get regular exercise, aiming for at least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity most days.
• Get adequate rest and sleep, aiming for 7-9 hours each night.
• Manage stress through relaxation techniques such as meditation, deep breathing, or yoga. 
• Avoid smoking and tobacco use, and limit exposure to secondhand smoke.
