Odoxil 500 mg Tablet is used to treat bacterial throat infections like tonsillitis and pharyngitis by stopping bacterial growth. It is also used for skin and soft tissue infections such as cellulitis, abscesses, lymphadenitis, and uncomplicated urinary tract infections like cystitis and pyelonephritis, helping reduce inflammation and infection-related symptoms.

• Swallow the Odoxil 500 MG Tablet whole with a glass of water with food.
• Do not crush or chew the Odoxil 500 MG Tablet, as this may affect the way the medication is absorbed in the body.
• Take the Odoxil 500 MG Tablet at fixed times each day to maintain a consistent level of medication. 
• Do not change your Odoxil 500 MG Tablet dose or take them more often than prescribed.

• Cefadroxil, the active ingredient in Odoxil 500 MG Tablet, is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that belongs to the cephalosporin class. It works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, ultimately leading to the bacteria's death. 
• Cefadroxil targets Gram-positive bacteria but is also active against some Gram-negative bacteria. It is commonly used to treat various bacterial infections, including skin and soft tissue infections, respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, and other infections. 

• Store this medicine at a temperature below 30 ºC.
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Odoxil 500 MG Tablet away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.
