Olvan Trio 40 Tablet is used for the following:

• Management of high blood pressure or hypertension

• Initial therapy in patients likely to need multiple medicines to reach their blood pressure goals

• Substitute for its individual components in individuals already taking olmesartan, chlorthalidone, and cilnidipine.

To use Olvan Trio 40 Tablet properly, follow these instructions:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• Aim to take your medicine at the same time each day for the best results.

• If you have any doubts, consult your doctor for specific advice.

Olvan Trio 40 Tablet is taken orally.

Olvan Trio 40 Tablet contains three active ingredients:

• Olmesartan Medoxomil (40 mg): Olmesartan works by blocking the action of a substance in your body called angiotensin II. Angiotensin II causes your blood vessels to narrow and releases a hormone that can increase the amount of salt and water your body retains. By blocking its action, olmesartan helps to reduce blood pressure.

• Chlorthalidone (12.5 mg): This ingredient is a diuretic, which works by increasing the amount of salt and water that the kidneys remove from the blood. This reduces blood volume, thereby assisting in the reduction of your blood pressure.

• Cilnidipine (10 mg): Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker. It functions by blocking the movement of calcium into certain cells in your heart and blood vessels. This leads to relaxation of your blood vessels, which helps lower your blood pressure.

• Store Olvan Trio 40 Tablet at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.
