Otorex Ear Drops 10ml

Otorex Ear Drops are used to relieve ear pain and unblock ears caused by earwax buildup. These drops soften and remove earwax, improving hearing and providing relief from itching or irritation in the ear canal.

Administer Otorex Ear Drops as follows:

• Ensure your hands are clean and warm the bottle in your hands for a couple of minutes.
• Sit or lie down with the affected ear facing upwards.
• Gently pull the outer ear to straighten the ear canal.
• Instil five drops into your ear, keeping hold of your earlobe.
• Remain in the same position for about 5 to 10 minutes to allow the drops to penetrate the earwax.
• Repeat this process once or twice a day for no more than four days. If discomfort persists or worsens, stop using and consult your doctor.

Otorex Ear Drops is administered topically.

Otorex Ear Drops consist of four active substances:

• Benzocaine (2.7%): As a local anaesthetic, benzocaine works by temporarily numbing the nerve endings in your ear canal. It blocks sodium channels involved in pain signal transmission, thus reducing the sensation of discomfort.
• Paradichlorobenzene (2%): This component acts as a cerumenolytic agent, which means it can dissolve and break up earwax. It also has mild antibacterial properties that help prevent infections in the affected area.
• Turpentine Oil (15%): This is a natural essential oil that serves as a lubricant and mild irritant. It helps soften hardened earwax and stimulates the ears' natural self-cleaning abilities.
• Chlorbutol (5%): It has preservative, antibacterial, and antifungal activity.

• Keep Otorex Ear Drops at room temperature.
• Store away from direct sunlight and moisture to maintain its efficacy.
• Ensure the bottle is tightly closed when not in use.
• Always keep this medicine out of the reach of children.
