Pentab-DSR Capsule is used to manage the following conditions:

• Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): This is a condition where the acid from your stomach flows back into your food pipe, causing discomfort like heartburn.

• Dyspepsia: Commonly known as indigestion, it involves discomfort in your upper abdomen after meals.

• Gastritis: This is inflammation or irritation of your stomach lining.

Here's how you should take Pentab-DSR Capsule:

• As prescribed by your doctor, usually in the morning before meals.

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew, or open up the capsule.

Pentab-DSR Capsule is taken orally.

Pentab-DSR Capsule contains two active ingredients that work together to manage gastrointestinal conditions:

• Domperidone (30 mg): As a dopamine receptor antagonist, domperidone increases the movement of the stomach and intestines. This action, known as a prokinetic effect, helps prevent acid reflux. It does this by promoting the emptying of the stomach, reducing the likelihood of stomach contents backflowing into the food pipe.

• Pantoprazole (40 mg): This ingredient falls under the proton pump inhibitors class. Pantoprazole works by reducing stomach acid production. It does this by blocking an enzyme system in the stomach's cells, known as the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system or proton pump. By reducing acid secretion, pantoprazole helps heal damage to the food pipe and stomach related to acid, while also managing symptoms like heartburn.

• Store Pentab-DSR Capsule at room temperature, ideally below 25 degrees Celsius.

• Keep the product away from direct light and moisture.

• Ensure the medicine is kept in its original packaging until it's time to take it.

• Always keep Pentab-DSR Capsule out of reach of children.

• Use the medication before its expiry date, as indicated on the packaging.

• If you're managing Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) with Pentab-DSR Capsule, try to limit your intake of spicy and fatty foods. These may increase acid production in your stomach and worsen your symptoms.

• Regular physical activity can help manage Dyspepsia. Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise, such as brisk walking or cycling, most days of the week. This can help improve digestion and reduce discomfort.
