Pentaloc 40 Tablet is used for conditions related to stomach acid, including acid reflux, GERD, and stomach ulcers. It works by reducing stomach acid production, preventing esophagus damage, and treating ulcers, especially those caused by Helicobacter pylori infection.

To use Pentaloc 40 Tablet correctly:

• Take it at least 1 hour before meals for optimal results.
• Do not stop taking Pentaloc 40 Tablet without consulting your doctor.

Pentaloc 40 Tablet is taken orally, which means you swallow it with water. Do not take it in any other way.

Pentaloc 40 Tablet contains pantoprazole, which is a proton pump inhibitor.

• Pantoprazole reduces gastric acid secretion by inhibiting an enzyme called H+K+Atpase (proton pump)
• and prevents the secretion of hydrogen ions into the stomach.
• By inhibiting this enzyme, pantoprazole decreases the amount of acid produced in the stomach helping in healing peptic ulcers and reducing symptoms related to GERD and reflux esophagitis.

• Store Pentaloc 40 Tablet in a cool and dry place.
• Protect the medicine from direct sunlight and moisture.
• Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Use the product before its expiry date.

• Avoid spicy, fried, and acidic foods that can trigger acid reflux.
• Eat smaller, more frequent meals instead of large meals.
• Maintain a healthy weight to reduce pressure on the stomach.
• Avoid lying down immediately after eating; wait for at least 2 hours.
• Elevate the head of your bed while sleeping to prevent nighttime reflux.
• Limit caffeine, alcohol, and smoking as they can worsen symptoms.
• Manage stress through relaxation techniques like yoga or meditation.
• Stay hydrated by drinking enough water throughout the day.

• Take Pentaloc 40 Tablet 1 hour before meals.
• Swallow the tablet whole with water.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet.
