Pentate DSR Capsule is used to manage acid reflux and indigestion.

Pentate DSR Capsule contains two active ingredients:

• Domperidone (30 mg): This component blocks dopamine D2 receptors in a certain area of the brain known as the chemoreceptor trigger zone (CTZ), helping to prevent feelings of nausea and vomiting. Additionally, it works on peripheral dopamine receptors in your digestive system to increase peristalsis rhythmic contractions that move food through your intestines thereby speeding up gastric emptying.

• Pantoprazole (40 mg): This ingredient acts by irreversibly blocking proton pumps (H+/K+ ATPase) in gastric parietal cells cells in the lining of your stomach. This action inhibits the final step of acid production in your stomach, resulting in a decrease in stomach acidity levels and an increase in stomach pH.
