Phoscut 400 Tablet is used to lower high phosphate levels in the blood, especially in patients with chronic kidney disease on dialysis. It contains sevelamer, which binds phosphate in the intestine and prevents its absorption.

Phoscut 400 Tablet is used for the following:

Managing increased serum phosphorus levels in people with end-stage renal disease who are undergoing hemodialysis.
Reducing the risk of ectopic calcification caused by elevated serum phosphorus.
Helping decrease parathyroid hormone (PTH) levels, which can lead to a bone disorder known as osteitis fibrosis in patients suffering from renal failure.
Lowering LDL cholesterol and total cholesterol levels is beneficial for overall heart health.

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
Do not crush or chew the tablet before consuming it as it could interfere with its effectiveness.
Never take more than your doctor has recommended. If you're unsure about your dosage, consult your doctor for clarity.
