Pioglit 15 Tablet is used to manage type 2 diabetes in adults by helping to control blood sugar levels. It contains pioglitazone, a thiazolidinedione, and good blood sugar control helps lower the risk of long-term diabetes complications.

Pioglitazone helps the body's cells respond better to insulin that is already present, which lowers blood sugar and improves glycaemic control over the course of treatment.

Take this tablet daily, with or without food, exactly as your doctor prescribes, alongside diet and exercise.

Tell your doctor if you have heart failure, liver disease, or a history of bladder cancer, as pioglitazone needs particular caution in these conditions. Watch for swelling of the ankles or feet, unexplained weight gain, or blood in the urine.

Uses of Pioglit 15 Tablet 10 are:

Type 2 Diabetes: Helps control blood glucose levels alongside diet and exercise.

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not chew or crush it.
The medicine can be taken with or without food.
