Pioride 2mg Tablet is used for the following:

• Management of chronic idiopathic constipation: This condition is characterised by infrequent or difficult passage of stools for 3 months or longer, without any known cause.

• Aiding bowel movements: This medicine helps to increase intestinal motility, which aids in the movement of food through the intestines.

• Improvement of stool frequency and consistency: It helps to regulate bowel movements and improve the texture of stools, making them easier to pass.

• Relief from constipation related symptoms: These can include straining during defecation, bloating, and abdominal discomfort.

Here are some guidelines to follow while taking Pioride 2mg Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• Try to take your medicine at the same time each day for better results.

• Do not take more than your prescribed dose. If you have any questions or concerns about your dosage, consult your doctor.

Pioride 2mg Tablet contains prucalopride (2 mg), which performs the following actions on the body:
