• Preventing heart attack and stroke by managing cholesterol levels.

• Managing heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (HeFH), a genetic condition causing high cholesterol levels, in children over 8 years old.

Here's how to take Pivasta 1 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not chew or break it.

• Always follow your doctor's instructions about when and how often to take this medicine.

• Never adjust your dosage without consulting your doctor first.

• Do not stop taking Pivasta 1 Tablet suddenly without your doctor's advice.

Pivasta 1 Tablet is taken orally.

Pivasta 1 Tablet contains pitavastatin (1 mg), which works on the body in the following ways:

• Inhibits HMG-CoA reductase: Pitavastatin blocks an enzyme called HMG-CoA reductase in your body. This enzyme is key to producing cholesterol inside your body.

• Store Pivasta 1 Tablet at room temperature, ideally between 15°C to 25°C.
