CompositionPivasta 2 Tablet is used to manage high cholesterol and triglyceride levels (hyperlipidaemia). It is a single-ingredient statin medicine containing pitavastatin.
This medicine helps reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke by lowering LDL (bad) cholesterol and raising HDL (good) cholesterol, and also lowers the level of apolipoprotein B, a protein that carries bad cholesterol in the blood.
Before starting, tell your doctor about any pre-existing conditions or other medicines you are taking.
