Polypod CV 200 Tablet is used for treating bacterial infections in the nose, sinuses, throat, lungs, skin, urinary system, and sexually transmitted infections like gonorrhoea. It helps reduce symptoms like pain, swelling, and inflammation, promoting faster healing and infection control.

• Swallow the entire tablet without crushing or breaking it. 
• Take it with food, but it is recommended at a fixed daily time for better results.

• The Polypod CV 200 tablet is taken orally. 

The Polypod CV 200 tablet contains the following components:

• Cefpodoxime Proxetil (200 mg): It is an antibiotic that inhibits the growth of bacteria by interfering with their cell wall formation. This weakens and ultimately destroys the bacteria, helping the body's immune system to clear the infection.
• Potassium Clavulanate (125 mg): This component inhibits the action of enzymes produced by some bacteria that can inactivate certain antibiotics. By doing so, it extends the effectiveness of cefpodoxime against a broader range of bacteria.
• Combining Cefpodoxime Proxetil and clavulanic acid ensures a more comprehensive and potent response against bacterial infections, making the Polypod CV 200 tablet effective in treating various infections.

• The storage instructions for the Polypod CV 200 tablet are as follows:
• Polypod CV 200 tablet should be stored at room temperature, at 25°C.
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Consume fibre-rich foods like whole grains, beans, lentils, berries, broccoli, peas, and bananas to support digestion.
• Avoid foods high in calcium, grapefruit, and grapefruit juice, as they may interfere with antibiotic absorption.
• Refrain from alcohol consumption while on antibiotics to ensure effective treatment.
• Avoid tobacco use, which can further irritate your digestive system.
