Prilox Cream 30Gm

Prilox Cream is used to numb the skin before minor medical or dermatological procedures in adults and children. It contains local anaesthetic ingredients that temporarily reduce sensation in the area where the cream is applied, helping minimise discomfort during procedures such as minor skin treatments, injections, or other superficial interventions. The cream works by temporarily blocking pain signals from the nerves in the treated area. It should be applied only in the recommended amount and for the duration advised by a healthcare professional. Avoid applying it to broken or damaged skin unless specifically instructed by your doctor, and follow the prescribed application guidelines to ensure safe and effective local anaesthetic action.

• Lignocaine: Lignocaine hydrochloride is a local anaesthetic that may temporarily reduce the sensation of pain at the application site by decreasing nerve signal transmission. It helps provide local numbness during minor procedures and can reduce discomfort associated with minor cuts, injuries, piles and fissures. 
   
• Prilocaine: Prilocaine is also a local anaesthetic that may temporarily reduce nerve signal transmission in the applied area. It may decrease local sensation, making the skin less sensitive during certain minor medical and cosmetic procedures. 
   
• Other Ingredients: In Water-Miscible base. 

• Provides Local Numbing: Prilox Cream contains lignocaine and prilocaine, which might act on local nerve pathways to temporarily reduce nerve signal transmission, resulting in decreased pain sensation and sensitivity at the application site.
   
• Supports Surgical Procedures: The anaesthetic properties of both ingredients may reduce pain signal transmission from the treated skin, which may minimise discomfort during selected minor medical procedures.
   
• Reduces Sensitivity Before Needle Insertion: When applied to intact skin as directed, lignocaine and prilocaine in Prilox Cream may temporarily decrease nerve sensitivity, making the skin less responsive to needle-related sensation.

• Puncture the nozzle seal with the piercing point of the cap. 
• Apply a thin, even layer of Prilox Cream to clean, intact skin as directed.
• Leave the cream on for the duration recommended by your healthcare professional.
• Remove the cream gently before the procedure and clean the application area.
• Avoid applying to broken, irritated or infected skin unless medically advised.
• Replace the cap after use.
