Propysalic NF Ointment is used to treat inflammatory skin conditions in adults, easing skin irritation, scaling, and inflammation.

Uses of Propysalic NF Ointment are:

• Eczema Relief: Reduces skin redness, itching, inflammation, and dry patches in eczema flare-ups.
• Psoriasis Management: Softens thickened scaly patches and reduces inflammation caused by psoriasis.
• Skin Softening: Helps loosen and shed hard, dead skin scales to improve overall skin texture.

Apply Propysalic NF Ointment in the following way:

• Ensure the affected skin area is clean and dry before application.

• Apply a thin layer of the ointment gently on the skin.

• Wash your hands immediately after applying, unless your hands are also being treated.

• Use the ointment exactly as long as prescribed by your doctor to get all the benefits.

Propysalic NF Ointment contains two active ingredients:

• Clobetasol Propionate (0.05%): A potent corticosteroid, Clobetasol Propionate works by blocking the production of certain chemicals in the body that cause inflammation. These chemicals, known as prostaglandins, are responsible for symptoms like redness, swelling, and itching.

• Salicylic Acid (3.5%): Salicylic Acid is a keratolytic agent. This means it helps to break down clumps of keratin, a protein that forms part of the skin structure. By breaking down these clumps and removing dead skin cells, Salicylic Acid softens the skin and improves its appearance. It also enhances the absorption of Clobetasol Propionate into the skin.

• Store Propysalic NF Ointment at room temperature, not exceeding 25 °C.

• Keep it away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.

• Always keep the medicine container tightly closed when not in use.

• Ensure it is kept out of reach of children.

• If you have eczema or psoriasis, try to avoid foods that trigger your symptoms. Certain foods like dairy products or gluten can sometimes worsen these conditions.

• Light physical activity may help improve skin health. However, avoid excessive sweating as it might irritate your skin and exacerbate your condition. Always consult your doctor before starting a new exercise regime.
