Prostagard-D8 Capsule is used to treat the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in adults with an enlarged prostate gland. It helps relieve urinary symptoms like urgency, nighttime urination, and incomplete bladder emptying.

2. Take Prostagard-D8 Capsule at the same time every day, preferably after meals.
3. Swallow the capsule whole with water; do not crush, chew, or break it.
4. Do not take more than the prescribed dosage without consulting your doctor.

Prostagard-D8 Capsule is taken orally, which means it is swallowed with water. It should not be taken by any other route.

Prostagard-D8 Capsule contains two active ingredients — silodosin and dutasteride.

• Silodosin is an alpha receptor blocker that works by relaxing the smooth muscles found in the bladder and prostate, thereby improving urine flow.
• Dutasteride blocks the production of dihydrotestosterone, a hormone responsible for prostate enlargement. By inhibiting this hormone, dutasteride helps shrink the prostate and alleviate symptoms.
