PTH 30 Tablet is used to lower high parathyroid hormone and calcium.

Uses of PTH 30 Tablet are:

• Kidney-Related Overactivity: Treats overactive parathyroid glands in dialysis patients.
• Parathyroid Cancer: Helps control high calcium in parathyroid cancer.
• Severe Primary Overactivity: Lowers high calcium when surgery is not possible.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• Follow the dose recommended by your doctor.

• Never alter the dosage without consulting your doctor.

PTH 30 Tablet is taken orally.

PTH 30 Tablet contains cinacalcet (30 mg), which acts on your body in the following ways:

• Calcimimetic Agent: Cinacalcet mimics the action of calcium on receptors found in your parathyroid gland, known as calcium-sensing receptors.

• Parathyroid Hormone Regulation: By acting like calcium, cinacalcet reduces the secretion of PTH from your parathyroid glands.

• Controls Calcium and Phosphorus Levels: Lowering PTH levels results in decreased levels of serum calcium and phosphorus in your body.

• Store PTH 30 Tablet at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Keep the medicine in its original packaging to protect it from moisture and direct sunlight.

• Ensure that the Tablet is kept out of reach of children at all times.

• Remember to use the medicine before its expiry date.
