Pulmoclear Syrup is used to manage the following conditions:

• Bronchospasm associated with bronchitis

• Bronchial asthma symptoms

• Emphysema-related discomfort

• Other bronchopulmonary disorders leading to cough, wheezing, shortness of breath, and chest tightness

To properly use Pulmoclear Syrup, follow these guidelines:

• Shake the bottle well before each use

• Use the measuring cup provided to accurately measure the dosage

• This syrup is sugar-based and needs caution for use in diabetic patients. If you have diabetes, consult your doctor before taking this medicine

• Remember to take this syrup orally, preferably with meals

• It's important not to exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor first.

• Store it in a dry place at a temperature below 30°C.

Pulmoclear Syrup consists of three active ingredients working together:

• Acebrophylline (50 mg): This compound works by inhibiting particular enzymes in your body called phosphodiesterases. This increases levels of a molecule called cyclic AMP in the smooth muscle cells lining your airways, which helps them relax and reduces inflammation. Acebrophylline also makes mucus less viscous, improving its clearance from your airways.

• Terbutaline (1.25 mg): This ingredient works by stimulating certain receptors on your lung's smooth muscle cells known as β2-adrenergic receptors. This leads to an increase in cyclic AMP levels within these cells, causing them to relax and thus widening your airways. Terbutaline also inhibits the release of substances from other cells that can constrict your airways.

• Menthol (2.5 mg): Menthol creates a cooling sensation by activating cold receptors in your throat and nasal passages. It also has mild anaesthetic properties that can help soothe an irritated throat and suppress cough.

• Store Pulmoclear Syrup in a tightly sealed container.

• Keep this medicine at normal room temperature, between 30°C.

• Avoid exposure to direct light and moisture.
