Ramcor-H 5 Tablet is used for the following purposes:

• Managing high blood pressure or hypertension

• Offering a comprehensive approach to blood pressure control in patients not adequately controlled by either ramipril or hydrochlorothiazide alone

• Reducing the risk of cardiovascular events such as heart attack and stroke in patients with high cardiovascular risk factors

Here are some instructions to follow while taking Ramcor-H 5 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a sufficient amount of water.

• Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet.

• Take the medicine at the same time every day for consistent blood pressure control.

• Do not take more than the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

• It's important not to stop taking this medicine without speaking to your doctor first.

Ramcor-H 5 Tablet is taken orally.

Ramcor-H 5 Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Ramipril (5 mg): This angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor blocks the conversion of angiotensin I to angiotensin II, a substance that narrows blood vessels. By reducing angiotensin II levels, ramipril helps relax and widen blood vessels, making it easier for your heart to pump blood and thus lowering your blood pressure.

• Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5 mg): This thiazide diuretic increases the amount of salt and water eliminated by your kidneys. This action reduces the volume of blood in your vessels, thereby lowering your blood pressure. Hydrochlorothiazide also directly relaxes blood vessels, further contributing to its blood pressure-lowering effects.

• Keep Ramcor-H 5 Tablet stored at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Protect it from light and moisture by keeping it in its original packaging.

• Make sure to keep it out of reach of children and pets for their safety.

• Always check the expiry date before using the medicine.

• Try to maintain a diet low in salt. Excessive sodium can increase blood pressure, counteracting the effects of Ramcor-H 5 Tablet.
