Ramitorva Capsule is a combination medicine used to lower the risk of heart attack, stroke, and blood clot complications in high-risk adults. It is commonly prescribed for individuals who have experienced a previous cardiac event or have multiple risk factors for heart disease.
It contains atorvastatin, ramipril, and aspirin. Atorvastatin lowers harmful lipid levels, ramipril helps relax blood vessels to lower blood pressure, and aspirin reduces clot formation. Take the capsule whole as prescribed, with or without food. Continue taking it regularly even if you feel well, and do not stop taking it without medical advice.
A heart-healthy lifestyle plays an important role in supporting this treatment. Eat a low-fat, low-salt diet, engage in regular physical activity, manage weight, and avoid smoking as advised by your doctor.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have liver or kidney disease, stomach ulcers, bleeding disorders, asthma, or plan to have surgery. It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Report persistent dry cough, muscle pain, or unusual bleeding promptly.
