CompositionRapilif 8 Tablet is used to relieve urinary problems associated with an enlarged prostate. It relaxes bladder and prostate muscles, helping reduce urgency, weak urine flow, and difficulty in urination.
Take this medicine only as prescribed. Inform your doctor about dizziness, low blood pressure, or ongoing treatments and continue as advised.
Rapilif 8 Tablet is used to manage symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH or enlarged prostate) in adults. It improves urinary function and provides relief from symptoms like weak urine stream, frequent urination, difficulty starting urination, and incomplete bladder emptying, promoting better bladder control.
Rapilif 8 Tablet side effects may include retrograde ejaculation (semen goes back into the bladder during orgasm), diarrhea, dizziness, orthostatic hypotension (low blood pressure upon standing), stuffy or runny nose, headache, and nasopharyngitis (inflammation of the nose and pharynx).
The side effects of Rapilif 8 tablet are usually mild and often do not require urgent medical attention. The side effects are more manageable with time. However, if the side effects persist, worsen or any other symptom other than that listed above occurs, inform your doctor immediately.

Avoid alcohol consumption while on Rapilif 8 tablet as it can aggravate the orthostatic hypotension caused by this medicine.
Rapilif 8 tablet should not be given to patients with severe liver disease or impairment. Dose adjustment is needed for mild to moderate liver disease after consultation with a doctor.

Rapilif 8 tablet can cause postural hypotension and dizziness which can impair driving and machine operating capability. Refrain from such activities while you are taking this medication.
If you are allergic to Rapilif 8 tablet or any of its constituents then do not take it.
Rapilif 8 tablet is not indicated for use in paediatric patients (<18 years of age).
Rapilif 8 tablet is to be used with caution in elderly patients with liver or kidney disease as they usually need dose adjustment after consultation from a doctor.
