Remetor CV 10 Capsule is used for the following:

• Lowering the risk of serious heart conditions, like a heart attack or stroke in patients with documented atherosclerosis

• Decreasing high total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, and triglycerides levels

• Increasing good cholesterol or HDL in individuals with primary hyperlipidemia

• Managing high total and LDL cholesterol in patients suffering from homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (HoFH), in combination with other lipid-lowering therapies

• Swallow the capsule whole without chewing or crushing it.

• Continue taking this medication regularly as directed by your doctor.

Remetor CV 10 Capsule works effectively through the combined actions of its two active ingredients:

• Atorvastatin (10 mg): This ingredient acts by inhibiting a key enzyme called HMG-CoA reductase, which is involved in cholesterol production in your body. By doing this, atorvastatin encourages cells in your liver to remove more LDL ("bad") cholesterol from your bloodstream, thereby lowering total cholesterol levels.
