Renopress-XL-5 Tablet is used to lower high blood pressure and to relieve the urinary symptoms of an enlarged prostate, such as difficulty, frequency and poor urine flow.

Renopress XL-5 Tablet contains prazosin (5 mg) and works in the body as follows:

• Alpha-1 Receptor Blockade: Prazosin acts by obstructing norepinephrine action on alpha-1 receptors present in the smooth muscles of your blood vessels. Norepinephrine is a hormone that causes contractions in blood vessels, thus raising blood pressure.
