Repace 50 Tablet is used for high blood pressure and heart failure.

Uses of Repace 50 Tablet are:

• High Blood Pressure: Helps lower and control raised blood pressure.
• Heart Failure: Helps the heart pump more effectively in long-term heart failure.
• Kidney Protection: Helps protect the kidneys in people with type 2 diabetes.

• Take the Repace 50 Tablet orally with a glass of water.
• Take it once a day at the same time each day, with or without food.
• Stick to your dose schedule and do not skip a dose.
• If you miss a dose, skip it and continue with the regular dosing schedule.
• Consult your doctor for specific advice on how to take this medicine, especially if it is for a child.
• Remember to consult your doctor before starting or stopping any medication.

Repace 50 Tablet is taken orally with a glass of water. It is not to be taken parenterally or topically.

Repace 50 Tablet contains losartan, which belongs to a class of drugs called angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs). Losartan works by blocking the action of a hormone called angiotensin II, which narrows blood vessels and increases blood pressure.

By blocking angiotensin II receptors, losartan helps relax and widen the blood vessels, reducing the resistance against blood flow and lowering blood pressure. This makes it easier for the heart to pump blood throughout the body.

Losartan also helps prevent future heart attacks and strokes by reducing the strain on the heart and protecting blood vessels from damage caused by high blood pressure.

• Store Repace 50 Tablet in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight.
• Keep the medicine in its original packaging to protect it from light and moisture.
• Make sure to store it out of reach and sight of children to prevent accidental ingestion.
• Check the expiry date on the packaging and use the product before it expires.

• Maintain a healthy and balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins.
• Limit your intake of salt, processed foods, sugary drinks, and saturated fats.
• Engage in regular physical activity such as walking, jogging, or cycling for at least 30 minutes a day.
• Quit smoking and avoid excessive alcohol consumption.
• If indicated for paediatric use: Encourage your child to eat nutritious meals and engage in age-appropriate physical activities under supervision. Limit their consumption of sugary snacks and drinks.
