Revelol XL 12.5 Tablet is primarily used to manage high blood pressure, also known as hypertension. It belongs to a class of medicines known as beta-1 adrenergic receptor blockers.

In addition to managing hypertension, this medicine can also be used in managing chest pain associated with heart disease, known as angina pectoris. It is further used in conjunction with other medications for managing heart failure and reducing the risk of hospitalisation. Importantly, it is also used to reduce the risk of cardiovascular mortality and recurrent heart attacks in patients who have suffered a heart attack before.

You should take this medicine as directed by your doctor. Prior to starting this medicine, inform your doctor about any pre-existing conditions or ongoing medications. Revelol XL 12.5 Tablet is used for the following:

Lowering high blood pressure, also known as hypertension
Managing chest pain due to heart disease, a condition called angina pectoris
Assisting in the control of heart failure, when used along with other medicines
Reducing the risk of further heart attacks and cardiovascular mortality in patients who have previously suffered a heart attack

Here's how you should take Revelol XL 12.5 Tablet:

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
Do not chew, crush or divide the tablet.
It can be taken with or without food.
Do not alter the dosage or stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor.

Revelol XL 12.5 Tablet is taken orally.
