Rexidin M Forte Gel 15gm

Rexidin-M Forte Gel is used to treat gum infections and mouth ulcers.

Uses of Rexidin-M Forte Gel are:

• Gum Infections: Treats gingivitis and periodontitis.
• Mouth Ulcers: Relieves painful mouth ulcers and minor oral wounds.
• Pain Relief: Numbs the area to ease pain during healing.

• Wash your hands thoroughly and apply Rexidin M Forte gel gently over the ulcer wounds. 
• Take only the prescribed amount of the gel. Using an excess of this drug may further irritate the wounds. 
• Consult with your doctor for instructions about applying this gel to the affected areas.

• Kidodent Dental Gel is meant for topical use only. It is to be applied directly to the gums.

Rexidin M Forte gel composition primarily consists of Chlorhexidine Gluconate, Lidocaine, and Metronidazole. 

• Chlorhexidine Gluconate is an antiseptic and disinfecting agent that eliminates any bacterial growth on the surface of the wound. 
• Lidocaine is a general anaesthetic which works by forming a protective layer over the ulcer wound. Simultaneously, it blocks the chemical messenger that transmits pain signals. 
• Metronidazole is an antibiotic that prevents ulcer wounds from any bacterial infection.

• Store Rexidin M Forte gel in a cool place without direct exposure to sunlight and excess moisture. 
• Keep the gel in the same tube it came in. Do not transfer Rexidin M Forte gel to another container. 
• Keep this gel a place where your children and/or pets cannot reach. 
• Check the expiration date of the gel and dispose of it if it's no longer fit for use.

• Avoid eating foods with too much salt or spice as it can irritate the ulcer wounds. 
• Adopt the habit of brushing your teeth twice daily for good oral hygiene. 
• Rinse your mouth properly after every meal to get rid of any leftover bits in the mouth. 
• Follow a well-balanced diet rich in all the essential nutrients and minerals and drink plenty of water.

• Do not drink or eat anything right after applying Rexidin M Forte gel. 
• Choose a soft-bristled brush to clean your mouth. 
• If the mouth ulcers do not get better after 1 to 2 weeks of use, inform your doctor.
